Preble County Fall Foliage Half Marathon
The Course
The race will begin and end at the Eaton Church of the Brethren. Come and experience a country Half Marathon. A quiet and beautiful run through country roads to Lake Lakengren.
The course will take you across the dam for a great view of the Lake. You will then reach the halfway point and turn around and
repeat the same route back to the Church. The course is all on roads with a mixture of flats and hills. The trees will have
their fall colors to add to the scenery.
There will be 6 water/powerade stations along the route and one at the finish. Each mile will be posted, but no times will be made available at them.
There is a restroom at the marina just before you cross the dam and some porta johns at the second/fourth water stop.
Course Map
5k course will be the first 1.55 miles of the half course out and back. Flat and fast course. Come set a PR.
Chip timing will be done for both races by Speedy Feet. Your chip is in your bib, so be sure not to let it fall off. Anyone on the course that isn't a runner or volunteer will be pulled off. No bandit runners.
